Click Designer · 1.0

Last updated 12 August 2026

The license, in plain language.

Click Designer is free right now and yours to keep afterwards. Use it on your own machines, on any session you like, commercial work included. Don’t redistribute the installer. That’s the whole agreement. Everything below is the same thing said carefully.

What you get

Downloading Click Designer gives you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive license to install and use it. Install it on every machine you work on. Use it on paid work, on records that get released, on scoring dates, on anything. No revenue cap, no seat count, no project limit.

There is no copy protection. No account, no activation, no license server that can go dark in five years. Your license key identifies your order if you need support and the plug-in never asks for it.

Free now, and still yours later

Anyone who downloads Click Designer while it is free keeps it, and that does not expire when the price does. When it gets a price it will be a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, and that price applies to new customers rather than to you.

What you can't do with it

  • Don’t redistribute or resell the installer, and don’t host it for download somewhere else. Send people the link to this site instead.
  • Don’t bundle it into another product or ship it as part of a template, sample pack, or course.
  • Don’t decompile it or strip the branding and pass it off as your own.

Sounds you make with Click Designer, including exported click tracks, are yours. Nothing here claims any interest in your music.

It's a first release

Version 1.0 is the first public build, which means some bugs will only turn up in a real session. Save often and keep backups of work in progress, the way you would with any plug-in you have just installed. If it crashes, macOS writes a report to Console under User Reports, and sending that along with what you were doing turns a week of guessing into an afternoon.

Early releases move. A setting may shift, a sound may be renamed, and a preset saved now may not survive intact into a much later version. Any change like that will be worth telling you about, and there is a form on the product page for exactly that.

What isn't promised

Click Designer is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nobody can promise software will never fail, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise on a page you are meant to trust.

To the extent the law allows, ViaMusicStudios is not liable for lost work, lost sessions, lost income, or any other damages arising from using it. Some jurisdictions don’t allow limits like that, in which case they apply to you only as far as they legally can.

Availability and support

Download links expire after 30 days. If yours has lapsed, or you have lost your license key, email viamusicstudios@icloud.com with your order number and it can be reissued. Keys are derived from the order number, so nothing is ever really lost.

Support is one person answering email, not a guaranteed response time. It is usually quick.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. If something can’t be settled by email, it goes to the state or federal courts sitting in New York County, New York, and both sides agree those courts have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer somewhere with protections that can’t be signed away, this clause doesn’t take them from you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and the new version applies to downloads from that point. It doesn’t reach back and alter the license for a copy you already have.
